I am literally crying listening to this. Walking to the corner shop, has become something that I rarely do. I work remotely and go into the office once a month, which is 1hr 45 mins away. Numerous times I have struggled to get there, faint, struggling to walk, needing to buy a suitcase twice, so that I can rest on the handle as I walk. And having to book a hotel to stay overnight because there is no way I can physically make the journey back. I take taxi's almost everywhere. I had to go from London to Reading recently and from London to Oxford and had to take a taxi to and from both because I physically couldn't do the commute. I have spoken to the Dr's so many times but they just fob me off, with blood tests that reveal nothing and the cycle starts over again. Thank you so much for sharing.

Miss Mrs Ms Alford or whatever you choose. I have had long term mental and physical illnesses type2 diabetes since 2003 bi polar schizoid since 1993. Huemans are very adaptive to situations but it takes time patience and mistakes. I'm not sure of your orientation. But in my book Big is Beautiful.

I have been writing a few months and the standard has been well received normally in end rhyme or sonnet. However i rrally struggling with writing a free verse any ideas or guidance would be well received?

“Shocked, and didn’t know where to look for the best”. A mate of mine went to a nudist wedding and found out that he wasn’t the best man after all.

The whole notion of 'courtship' as 'hunting', the desired as 'prey', could certainly do with a good kicking here, linking it to that long history whilst demonstrating what a sick and abhorrent metaphor / mindset it is - even a genuine hunter, the bear, is preferable to those who still operate within that framework.

Overall, this poem is pretty good. I like the rhythm, particularly with "to protect us" and "to digest us." I feel that the poem needs some visceral descriptions to make the point clear about how scared and uneasy we feel around men and how women have evolved to have to resort to using the survival mechanisms in order to survive, but we should be telling men to not attack women. Something like men claw off our clothes and thrust themselves into us until they roar with gratification or something of that ilk that can match the iambic meter and rhyme. As for the name of the collection, "Little Songs" is simple and is more or less what it says on the tin when it comes to sonnets. Hope all this helps.

I wonder Whether prose poetry Is simply poetic prose. Surely form has a role To play? If I met a traveller From an antique land Yet wrinkled my lip and Sneered in a paragraph, Ignoring rhyme, Would it still be A poem?

Normally ghazals are named after some of the impactfull lyrics of the poem in Hindustani patterns. Loved the ghazal ❤. For the narration I believe there is a certain slow style btw but I only speak from my Indian experience. Its kind of a slow but heavy enunciation of every word

Hey Josie, my table of contents for my chapbook is taking up 2 pages, and the second page is only the title of 2 poems (visually it looks bad to me) because of the double spaced manuscript format rules. I was wondering if it's okay for me to just make the table of content page not double spaced but maybe 'at least' format so it can be just one page? is that fine or should I stick to the regular formatting and my second page of my contents isn't really a big deal that I'm making it?

It's a sad reality there's always going to be bozos that dont get it but for naturists/nudists the reality is it's about comfort. When you get home do you go and sit directly on the hard floor? When you sleep do you sleep on the hard floor? No, and the reason is it's more comfortable to sit on a chair or sofa and sleep in a bed than the bare floor. For us naturists it's simply more comfortable to be naked than wearing clothes when the weather allows. Nothing crazier than that.

I’m ex-muslim I am proud to have left Islam because it gave me the opportunity to live my life according to my own beliefs. Additionally, I am proud to be a nudist and no longer feel shame about my body. I love the openness and freedom I experience in the nudist community, where people go naked without shame and see nudity as something natural and liberating. For me it is important and right to be naked and enjoy this freedom.
